INFINITY AND
BEYOND
Divide group into 3
sections, section one respond to EARTH, section two responds
to MARS & STARS
section three responds to MOON and the whole group respond
to both SPACE & ASTRONAUT.
SPACE "The final frontier" (hands on hips) or "Way
out there" (Point upward moving hand from left to right)
ASTRONAUT "To infinity and beyond" (Stand up one hand
on hip and thrust arm toward sky)
EARTH "The blue planet, THAT's HOME"! (closed
fist held against heart)
MOON "A cow couldn't jump over that!" ( shaking
head side to side vigorously)
STARS "Twinkle Twinkle" (hold arms up and wiggle
fingers)
MARS "I like Mars bars!" or "What about Marvin
?"
The whole universe is an enormous place, which
all of us just refer to as SPACE.
ASTRONAUTS we
know are both daring and bold, go searching that SPACE for mysteries untold.
And bring back to
EARTH, SPACE rocks
galore, each ASTRONAUT helping
us all to learn more.
For days at a time, they orbit in SPACE, floating around with
effortless grace.
From the very beginning of our human history,
the people on EARTH have loved
the great mystery
Hidden with in the bright twinkling STARS, and wondered allowed "Is there
life there on MARS"?
The SPACE race
began and then very soon, some ASTRONAUTS even walked on the MOON.
Oh what a thrill for the whole human race,
when ASTRONAUTS planted a flag
on that place.
Though a long time ago, it still flies today,
just where the ASTRONAUTS left
it that day
So when you are looking way up into SPACE, and Dad turns to you with a
smile on his face
And tells you a story that the MOON's made of cheese, you'll know in
your heart he is just a big tease
The ASTRONAUT's
say you can't make it a meal, and even the man in the MOON isn't real,
But maybe one day, some where out in SPACE, the ASTRONAUTS will find a new alien
race
