Bubbles......Try a few bubble experiments ......
1. Are bubbles always round ?
Make different shaped wands , diamonds , hearts , squares , ovals , circles , more complex shapes if you have the patience .Test each wand and record the resulting bubble shape
2. Which bubble mix works best ?
Try a couple of different solutions ie .....
a) just dish washing liquid
b) dishwashing liquid mixed with water , how about a couple of different measurement combinations .............. 1 part water 3 parts dishwashing liquid , half and half , 3 parts detergent and 1 part water
c) dishwashing liquid , water and glycerine
3) look for prism effect on bubbles
4) Try catching the bubbles with out breaking them
1. What does a shark feel like ? take along some sandpaper not too course as this is representative of shark skin .
I have to finish this part another time , when I have my notes to work from . There will be experiments in how sharks hear and see . Interesting facts and general information .
