"INVISIBLE INK" You can use several
different ingredients to write secret messages
such as lemon juice, milk, potatoes,
ammonia and water, vinegar and water.
Cotton bud sticks are
ideal for writing messages with.
When preparing an
invisible ink solution using
either ammonia or vinegar and water
use equal amounts of each liquid
then experiment using more or less water.
To make your messages
show up you will need to either
spray them with red cabbage
solution or apply heat
such as
an iron, hold over a hot stove or heater perhaps a candle,
being very careful not to allow your messages
to become too hot or catch on fire.
I prefer the cabbage spray and an iron.
A soft porous paper is
ideal for writing your messages on,
once again you can experiment with various types of paper
to see which will give the best result
Another type of
Invisible ink you could make is with
corn flour and water, use approximately 2 large tablespoons
of corn flour mixed with 4 teaspoons of water.
Write your message and allow to dry, when dry
spray or sponge an iodine solution over the paper
to reveal the message, try this with the cabbage water as
well.
