Joey Scouts in teams , half team at one end of hall , half at the other end . Joey Scouts leap like frogs down hall and tag next team member
GAME ..................... Taddy tunnel
As with tunnel ball but substitute Joey scouts for ball , they must slither through the legs of their team mates
SONG ...................... Galump went the little green frog , with actions

** For every Galump and gloomp Joey scouts and leaders (squatting like frogs) make a sudden frog leap to the side

CRAFT ................... Blowflies , and TALK about tadpoles frogs and toads
Equipment… egg cartons (torn into sections) magazines and sticky tape
Very quick craft to be destroyed in next game !
Take a piece of egg carton fly's body , tear off some magazine for wings sticky tape one to the other …. Make lots and lots
GAME .................. Blowfly swat
Equipment , premade blowies , rolled up newspaper swats
Play 2 variations of game
1. TEAM GAME ....... divide Joey Scouts into a number of small teams , each Joey takes a turn swatting their fly from one end of the hall to the other , to tag the next team player who repeats ..... the game continues until all team players have swatted their fly for the length of the hall
2. Free for all swat ........ Every joey Scout has a swatter , their mission is to Rid a nominated area of BlowFlies ( blowies )
Gather up the gory remains as the Blowies are swatted from the target area , Drop them in another area creating a 2nd Blow fly alert zone . Start over again and again and again for as long as the blowies survive the assault
Clean up all the body bits ready for craft …

equipment ..... cardboard , masking tape , rubber bands , scissors
For each Joey Scout Pre cut 2 pieces of (box) cardboard approximately 5cm wide x 8cm long or 2"x3" , ( working with the long side) there is a top and bottom , at the top cut a small 'v' shaped nick out of each side approximately 1cm from top , do the same on both pieces of cardboard . Lay the cardboard down with the unnicked bottoms about 2-3 mm apart and mask together on both sides to form a hinge . Place the rubber band around the nicks of one carboard piece , twist to form an 'x' and loop into the nicks of the other section . Fold the masked hinge backward so that the rubber band is now on the outside of the folded rectangle and let go . The frog will leap up with a loud cracking noise.

SPARE GAME ................... Lily Pad Leaping
Like musical chairs or maps difference being Joey Scouts leap around course and must be standing on a lily pad when music stops
Equipment … chalk , newspaper a few obstacles and some music
Place a few obstacles around the hall , use chalk to draw a series of directional arrows marking the course , place newspaper squares ( lilypads) around the course .
Joey scouts move around and when the music stops should be standing on one of the lily pads , if there are any scouts not standing on a lily pad they need to perform some silly action etc. Continue and periodically remove a lily pad or 3 . No one is removed from the game because they are unable to find a lily pad to stand on , but they MUST do something silly before the game can continue .
