EGG HUNT
Indoors or out , this is always good fun , try hiding gold painted rocks rather than eggs . When your Joey Scout returns with his/her treasure , they add it to the bulk of the booty , use a pillow case or similar as the loot bag and have an identical bag stashed this one with chocolate eggs inside it . During the meeting substitute the rocks for chocolate eggs , just prior to closing parade have one of the Joey Scouts accidently discover the transformation . Share out the eggs .
BUNNY HOP RELAY 1
Hold a tri-hop-athon in which two or three relay teams compete rabbit-style. If playing this game outside choose 3 landmarks and conduct the race over this course changing hop at each point . Both teams line up at the same mark. When the game starts, the first player on each team must hop on one foot to the second mark, skip from there to the third mark, and then jump all the way back on two feet to tag the next teammate in line.
BUNNY HOP RELAY 2
Joey Scouts to form teams , all team members at one end of the hall . On a signal the first Joey in line takes off hopping with hands up to form ears , they hop all the way up and back on both feet to tag the next team member . You can continue this game by using varying hops ie: right foot , left foot , try hopping backwards !
HOT CROSS BUNNIES
Suspend easter buns from a rope , each Joey must run the length of the hall and on the return , hop all the way to the rope , with hands behind back , munch their easter bun then return to the starting point .
EGG AND SPOON RACE
Using soup / dessert or the very challenging teaspoon , have your Joey Scouts move around an obstical course carrying a very small easter egg on the spoon , if the egg is dropped just pick it up and keep going . At the end of the course the egg is eaten . Can extend this game by including the egg eating , Joey peels the foil from the egg rolling it into a tiny ball and tries to throw it into a container before eating .
EGG ROLLING
A traditional game in several countries around the world , draw lines the length of the hall , Joey Scouts are to roll their egg as far as possible (using their hand) without the egg breaking (Hard boiled eggs are less challenging but so much easier to clean up ) . For a variation to this game place some cardboard boxes with arches cut into them along the track , Joey Scouts need to control their egg well enough for it to pass through the box arch and out the other side to complete the course .
