Kookaburra food (SNAKES)
Materials required ..........
snake shaped sticks approximately 30-50 cms long
paint
make sure the ends of the sticks are smoothed
Joey Scouts decorate the snakes with dots and fine stripes , like aboriginal art work (show the Joey Scouts some examples of Aboriginal art ) . Yellow , red , orange and green colours look really effective . Add a couple of dark dots for eyes .
This is generally enough , the snakes look fantastic , but you could attach a forked tongue cut from felt if desired .
